An Innovation Based On Tradition
Unina’s Belly Binder was designed with the Traditional Malaysian Bengkung in mind. Bengkung belly binding is the art of wrapping a postpartum women’s belly for physical support and to help hasten the recovery process after childbirth while the pregnancy hormones are still present in her body. It replaces the need to use a long 11-13 metre strip of muslin to wrap around around the abdomen from the hips to the rib cage.

 

The advantage of using the Unina Belly Binder over other binders/girdles is that it is infinitely adjustable, beautiful and fits most women. The Unina (Bengkung) Belly Binder can even be worn if you have had a caesarean (worn 6 weeks post caesarean) as it still gives you all the benefits as listed below.

As a standalone service:

NZD$50 6 week hireage fee plus $50 bond (NZD$100 total)

The NZD$50 bond is refunded on return of the bind to me in good condition
