Kia ora lovely humans!
My son just turned 5. It's a big milestone in a school fixated society (we homeschool ha!).
And by now, most of us have forgotten it's Māmā's birth-day too. It can bring up parts of us that haven't felt nourished, heard, held or healed around our little one's birth. This can feel super prevalent in those first few years...and I've also facilitated a birth debrief for a Māmā who gave birth 40 years ago and the emotion came forth just as strongly as it would have as if it happened yesterday. Your body remembers (and stores) what happened until it is truly heard and can be released for all that it was.
It's never too late to have your story heard, to feel held in your journey and to feel deeply honoured for all you went through. Your story matters. It deserves to be heard. Your feelings are valid. The highs, the lows, the tricky bits, the grateful bits. All of it is welcome. All of it is valid. Opposing emotions and feelings are legit. I'm here for it all.
For a limited time to celebrate my wee one turning 5, I'm offering the first 5 bookings 12% off their first booking for a birth debriefing. Why 12%? I added my 2 kids ages together to make it a meaningful discount and there's 12 months between birth-days. 🤷♀️😅 use this code at checkout: BIRTH12
And book directly online here: www.honouringmama.com/book-online
Thank you for being part of this community. I appreciate you!
