How our children’s birth can play out in their life (and ours)

Kia ora lovely humans!

Are you curious to understand how your child's birth might be playing out in their life and yours?

I've really observed this in my son especially, and understanding the bigger picture of his birth has allowed me to parent him in a way that's even more supportive of his true nature.

When I went into labour with him, my labour stalled for around 5 hours. I had done hypnobirthing and I really tried to will my mind into thinking I was safe and I could do this, even if all of the elements I imagined hadn’t fallen into place yet. It didn’t work. I had to feel safe at a cellular level to give birth - there was no convincing my body or my beautiful son otherwise. And this is how he is in life - he comes to things in his own time, and you can’t convince him anything is safe until he truly feels it himself. This and about a million other things about him, the world, and myself is what his birth has taught me and it has been a massive gift.

Birth is one of the biggest transitions of our lives (for us and our children) and I love to explore and unpack this with parents.

Birth debriefing is a powerful way to feel heard, seen and validated in our experience in this rite of passage.

I've decided to extend my 30% discount for another week, so if you feel like you would benefit from having a safe space to talk about your experience, head over to my website to book yourself a spot and use this code at checkout: BIRTH30
